Can I get a quote over the phone?

If you’re in a rush and want an indicative cost we can give you an estimate over the phone. There’s some information that we’ll need to ensure this is as accurate as possible.

For carpet cleaning, please tell us the room dimensions and about any stains on the carpet.

For upholstery cleaning, please tell us what the items are i.e. sofas, chairs, dining chairs. Let us know if there are any stains and, if you know, what the fabric is made of.

If you are happy with the quote we can then arrange a convenient time to clean for you.

Will the quote change?

No, if we have made a visit to your home and given you a quote this will be a fixed price and won’t change.

We will double check that our telephone quotes are accurate before we start your clean. Changes to these quotes are very rare - only significantly bigger areas or stubborn staining can affect the cost.

Stain removal and ongoing care

What stains can you remove?

We can remove a large variety of staining including tea, coffee, red wine, food stains, blood, ink, tar, oil, urine, draft marks, dye transfer and many other types of stains. Stain removal results can vary due to the many different types of fabrics and carpet fibres, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss it with you.

Do you guarantee to remove all stains?

We guarantee the best results possible but unfortunately cannot guarantee removal of staining because it’s sometimes not possible.

Can you apply stain protection treatments?

Yes we can. Almost all items we clean for you can be stain protected. For more information please see our stain protection page.

How often should I have my carpets cleaned?

Most manufacturers recommend that carpets are professionally cleaned every 12 - 18 months. If you allow the carpet to become heavily soiled it could significantly reduce the life of the carpet.

My sofa says dry clean only, can it be thoroughly cleaned?

Yes. We always thoroughly pre-test the upholstery to determine the most effective cleaning method. We can dry clean the upholstery if necessary  although our other cleaning methods are more effective.

Do you clean every area of the fabric?

Yes. We remove all cushions and clean every accessible area of fabric.

Guarantee and peace of mind

Are you fully trained?

Yes. We are fully trained and members of the National Carpet Cleaners Association (NCCA).

Do you guarantee the cleaning results?

Yes we do. Prior to carrying out the cleaning we will give you an honest expert opinion on the results of the cleaning. We offer a money back guarantee with all of the work we carry out for you.

Is there a risk of shrinkage?

No. We will thoroughly pre-test carpets and fabrics prior to cleaning.

What if I'm unsatisfied with the results of the cleaning?

Prior to cleaning we will give you an honest idea of the results of the cleaning. If you are unhappy with any of the cleaning then please contact us immediately and at our expense we will come back at the earliest available opportunity (normally within 48 hours) to resolve the issue.

If you are still unsatisfied with the cleaning we will refund your money.

Are you fully insured?

Yes we are. Certificates are available on request.

On the day of the clean

Do I have to move the furniture before the cleaning?

No you don’t. Prior to cleaning we will advise which furniture we can and cannot move, although most furniture i.e. sofas, TV stands, chests of draws, bed side cabinets and even book shelves can be moved. We do ask that you remove small items off of the furniture prior to cleaning to reduce the chances of any accidental property damage.

Do you clean everything in situ?

Yes we do. This includes curtains, rugs and mattresses.

Do I need to vacuum before the cleaning?

We will always vacuum before cleaning the carpet although if you can vacuum yourself then it will help.

Can you clean without me being at the property?

Yes we can. Please contact us so that we can discuss your requirements.

What equipment do you use?

We use a large variety of specialist professional equipment depending on the item to be cleaned. Our most commonly used method of cleaning uses our hot water extraction machine. This machine can rinse and extract the soiling and staining at very high power if necessary. We can also use different machinery for delicate fabrics i.e. silks and other dry clean only fabrics.

Is the cleaning safe for children and pets?

Yes. All of the main cleaning solutions we use are eco-friendly, biodegradable and are also safe for children and pets to use the item or area following cleaning.

How long will the cleaning take?

Generally a lounge carpet will take on average 1 hour to clean and a 3 piece suite will take on average 3 hours to clean. The cleaning time may vary due to access, difficult or heavy staining and soiling.

How soon can I use the items after cleaning?

The average carpet and rug will take between 2 - 4 hours to be touch dry although you can often walk on the carpets straight after cleaning. Upholstery will take 4 - 5 hours to dry on average. Curtains, leather and mattresses can be ready for use almost immediately following the cleaning. Drying times can vary due to soling and staining levels, humidity, ventilation and temperature. Our technicians will advise you how to get the quickest drying times.

How soon can I vacuum after the cleaning?

You can vacuum the carpet once it is dry, although you shouldn't need to until your next regular vacuum.
